This tour includes a historical overview of the former monastery Kloster Hofen and the new convent buildings with a church erected at the end of the 18th century. The Schlosskirche (palace church) with both its 55m (180ft) high dome towers made of Rorschach sandstone is the landmark of the town and is counted among the famous Upper-Swabian buildings of baroque.

On this tour, you will learn interesting and strange facts about the history of the Lake Constance navigation, which are well worth knowing. Beginning with the early Lastensegler (cargo sailing boats) in the Middle Ages, over to the steamship fleet of the 19th and early 20th centuries, to the modern pleasure boats and ferries of the “Weisse Flotte“ (white fleet).

This bicycle tour takes you to the landmark of the Zeppelin Town, the Baroque Palace Church and further to the former Flakkaserne, now the headquarters of the Cooperative State University and Zeppelin University. Passing apple orchards, you reach the highest point, the church in Berg, with a beautiful view. The return journey takes you to the landmark Zeppelin Village and through the Riedlewald forest back to the Tourist Information.
