Declaration on Accessibility
The City of Friedrichshafen makes every effort to make its websites and mobile applications accessible to disabled persons in accordance with§ 10 Absatz 1 Landes-Behindertengleichstellungsgesetzes (L-BGG). This declaration on accessibility applies to the version of this website currently accessible on the Internet:www.en.friedrichshafen.de.
Status of compatibility with the requirements
This website is only partially compatible with § 10 Absatz 1 L-BGG . Not barrier-free contents can be:
- pdf files:
pdf-files, which were discontinued before 23.07.2020, are partially not barrier-free. PDF files posted later will be created in a barrier-free version if possible or replaced by one as soon as possible. Non-accessible pdf files will be supplemented with a corresponding html text of the same content if possible.
- Subtitles of videos and livestreams:
Videos/livestreams are initially automatically subtitled and may contain errors. For newly uploaded videos we try to submit revised subtitles as soon as possible after publication. Videos from third parties can be integrated by us, but not subtitled.
- Images, photos and graphics:
Occasionally alternative texts may be missing. We regularly check for completeness and add missing alternative texts.
- Integration of maps from Google Maps:
The Google Maps map integration is not barrier-free. We are currently working on a barrier-free alternative for the presentation of address data listed in Google Maps, some of which is already available.
As an additional service, we have supplemented this website with the Voice Reader reading function. By clicking on the "Read text" button, the text of a page is read aloud. The entire text can also be downloaded as an audio file.
