Mayor

On 5 April 2009 Andreas Brand was elected as Mayor. He took up his post in Friedrichshafen on 5 June 2009. On March 12, 2017 Andreas Brand was re-elected for another eight years.

Mayor Andreas Brand heads the entire city administration and, as a subdivision, Department. In his function he is also chairman of the municipal council as well as representative and legal representative of the city of Friedrichshafen and the Zeppelin Foundation.
